What's it all about?
Cooktown Food Connect is a social enterprise, a collaborative network of local farmers and gardeners producing tasty, nutritious and chemical-free food for people in the Cooktown region. Through CTFC we are empowering ourselves and our community to face the challenges of our times by putting our own house in order starting with our food.
We are passionate about growing healthy food, supporting local growers, building the resilience of our local economy and regenerating our agricultural landscape.
We are working towards creating a new, more equitable way of distributing local produce in a socially responsible way.
